Baker's Housewarming gift with Expressionery WRAPS

This post is sponsored by World Market Expressionery and Laura Kelly Designs. I received products and compensation for this post but as always I put my own creativity into it and all opinions and wording are my own.

It's summer time and it seems like everyone is moving.  We live in a newer neighborhood and there is a moving van parked in front of a new house every week.  What better way to welcome a new neighbor than with a gift basket? One of my favorite gifts to give (or receive) is baked goods.  So when I was asked to be part of the Expressionery WRAPS blog campaign and creatively wrap a gift from World Market with pretty wraps from World Market and top it off with an Expressionery stamp. I thought wouldn't it be fun to create a housewarming gift basket with the baking tools for the recipe included.

My inspiration for a recipe came from this Ginger & Lemon Peel White Chocolate bar from World Market. It's very good on it's own but I couldn't help think it would be even better in a cookie.  Actually most things are even better in a cookie.

Then I found this cookie stamp at World Market and my Lemon Ginger Shortbread recipe was born.  It's perfect for stamping cookies, it lasts forever (like a week) and holds up well in the summer heat. Also perfect for placing decoratively in a gift basket along with all the fun utensils to recreate the recipe in your own.

Honestly this is the first time I'd ever been to a World Market and I fell in love with the place.  Our family lived in Germany for 13 years and as I walked through the store I got a little teary eyed because so many things reminded me of Germany and Europe.  I could have stayed in the food section oogling everything for hours but I had my kids with me so that didn't happen. They also had a wine section, home decor, furniture, and my other favorite a baking section. I wanted everything in the baking section.

I decided to settle on items you could use to make my cookie recipe. I used a cute mixing bowl as the "basket" and filled it with a spatula, lemon juicer, decorative hand towel, cookie stamp and a cute bag for the home made cookies.  My other favorite section (what is that three favorites now?) was the gift wrap section.  They had gift basket kits that included the basket and cellophane(almost got that). They had beautiful bags. I love their bags! Don't get me started on the bags. Their bags are works of art.  Thick and luxurious with gorgeous patterns.  I could have easily bought every bag for my hoarder/collection of bags at home.

What gift wouldn't be complete without a sweet gift tag created with a personalized self inking stamp from Expressionery? These stamps are very well made and so easy to use. This one was super cute. It was designed by Laura Kelly in a totally adorable doodle style. I love that my name is on it and that it's self inking. Just stamp and go it's so easy. Oops I said that already.

Now here's the awesome part.  There's a giveaway. Enter to win a $250 VISA Gift Card, a custom stamp and a $100 World Market Gift Card (Value $400).  This contest ends July 31st so enter while you can.
