Teacher Appreciation Editable Thank you tags

Yay! It's teacher appreciation week.  We love our teachers.  Every year they become such a big part of our lives and we try to show them how much we care every chance we get.  Teachers truly have one of the hardest jobs in the world.  They are the most patient, creative, kind, nurturing and determined people I have every met.  Trust me you have to be to keep my kids interested in learning. 

This week I hope you give a little something to the teachers in your life, to let them know how wonderful they are.  Here is the tag I whipped up for our sweet teachers and the Dahlia bulbs we sent in for flower day.  I made the "name" text editable so you can personalize the tags, just in case you'd like to use these for the teachers in your life.  These fit nicely on live flowers or any flower bulb box.

Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party (Real Parties)

 

What girl doesn't love rainbow's and unicorns?  I have always been a bit infatuated with Unicorns, so when my friend Sheryl asked me to help with her daughters Rainbow Unicorn 10th birthday party I jumped at the chance. What could be more girly and magical and fun than rainbows and unicorns.

 My sweet little Mara just turned 6 and she loves animals.  She has a collection of stuffed animals that is always spilling out of her room into every corner of our house.   Which is why I wasn't surprised when she requested to have "a rainbow zoo party" with all her stuffed animals in cages.  

Panda Tea Party

My sweet Marina just turned 10 years old.  I can barely believe it.  They grow up so fast (sniff).  But I adore the young lady she's become, so sweet and loving.  She has always loved animals.  She was never a Barbie or a dolly girl.  So when she asked for a panda party, I thought it was perfect for her.  She has loved pandas for years and I knew we could have a lot of fun with it.

Zombie Apocalypse 8th Birthday party

For Myles 8th birthday he chose a zombie apocalypse theme. He has a slight obsession with pretending he is defending us against the zombie apocalypse (no we don't watch the Walking Dead).  It's kind of cute with him and his friends running around the neighborhood with their Nerf guns making sure we are all safe and secure.  So I tried to translate that into a kind of desolate zombie apocalypse dessert table and treats.

Baby Dorothy invites

I may be in a hotel but my Etsy shop is still keeping me busy.  I have to share these super cute red ruby slippers that I just designed for a client.  They are a much cuter version of my Dorothy invites.

Yay I finally finished our family Christmas card.  Every year I struggle with how to get at least one good shot of each of our four kids onto one card.  So this year I decided to go with a photo mini book.  What better way to show what we've been doing all year.

Here is a handy dandy tutorial on how to assemble my printable envelopes.  First you need to print the envelope sheet using a color printer and regular printer paper or white cardstock (110lb wieght).

Thing 1 and Thing 2 themed baby shower

I recently had the pleasure of helping some friends with a Thing one and Thing two baby shower for twins.  I've always loved Dr. Seuss so I jumped at the chance. 

The challenge of this shower was that it had to take place within a week, since the Mother was leaving soon to be in the states due to complications with her pregnancy.  Thankfully I had lots of help from my friend Laura the mastermind behind this whole thing and I'm pretty happy with what we accomplished in such a short time.  

Mara's Hello Kitty inspired 4th Birthday party

I can't believe my little Mara just turned 4.  She such a wonder and a joy and she always brings a smile to my face.  She's very girly and playful so it's no wonder she loves Hello Kitty.  I mean who doesn't.  So I knew her party had to be Hello Kitty with lots of pink and playful notes throughout.

Wonderland Tea Party

Well our Wonderland tea party has come and gone and it was so much fun. The weather was overcast but it didn't rain so we managed just fine.  There were crafts and games and lots of yummy food.  We of course had fairy cakes as the Brits call them.  I love saying fairy cakes much more than cupcakes anyday. It sounds so delicate and sweet just like cupcakes should always be. 

The White Rabbit is coming!

Wonderland sale until August {40% off}

I created some Alice themed party decorations a while ago.  I love them dearly but I had always intended to include the white rabbit somewhere on the decorations.  It never happened due to time constraints.  We are planning on having a tea party the end of this month and I've decided to finally add the white rabbit to the Alice decorations.  Here's a preview of the rabbit and I think he's adorable.  However this means the original door mouse will be leaving.  I don't plan to post the new Alice line until the beginning of August.  So if you like the current one you need to grab it now.  I've discounted all the Alice items in the store until August in honor of the doormouse.
