Pumpkin Cream Soup

Fall is just around the corner and I have the urge to make soup.  The mornings here are starting to get cooler. I've seen a few leaves starting to turn red.  It has been such a hot dry summer that Autumn can't get here quick enough for me. One of my favorite soups for fall is pumpkin.  I do cheat and use canned pumpkin puree but it makes it so quick and easy to whip up a warm bowl of steamy goodness that I don't mind.  

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Nothing says fall to me like pumpkin.  I love the smell of it, the taste of it and the wonderful orange, homey look of it.  I also love whoopie pies and if you've never tried one they are really a must.  I'm not talking about the ones you can buy prepackaged in the store.  I'm talking about the cake like cookies that are sandwiched together with any type of wonderful creamy filling in between.  There are so many versions of these delightful mouthfuls and I would love to try everyone.  But since fall is just around the corner, or is it here already,  I had to go with pumpkin and cream cheese.  Probably my most favorite flavor combination ever.  

Pumpkin Roll

No Holiday would be complete without a pumpkin roll on the dessert table.  The flavors of pumpkin and cream cheese go together so well. 

Pumpkin Pancakes

With the chill of fall in the air I find myself craving warm spiced pumpkiny(not a real word but it should be) things.  I also crave eggnog but that's another post entirely.  These pancakes are the perfect way to warm you up on a cool autumn morning.  Also my kids love them so they've got to be good.

Pumpkin Bread

There is no better way to welcome in Fall than warm freshly baked pumpkin bread.
