Black Cat Happy Halloween Gift tags

I can't believe that Halloween is just around the corner.  If you are scrambling like me to find your broomstick and witches hat, then these sweet kitty cauldron Halloween tags are for you.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the 13 days of Handmade Halloween hosted by my dear friend Keisha from Cupcake Wishes and Birthday Dreams.  It's 13 days filled with Halloween crafts and inspiration from 13 fabulous bloggers. This year I drew a sweet little black cat and cauldron for a free printable gift tag. These tags are perfect for treat bags, goody bags or any Halloween treats.

I hope you enjoy these gift tags and have a Happy Halloween filled with candy and cats. Because you can never have enough candy or cats.

Not so scary Zombie party in Tots to Teens

What a wonderful Halloween surprise to find our not so scary zombie party in Tots to teens magazine!

We had so much fun with this party and it's really cool to see it in an international publication. Myles was even more surprised to see his face in a magazine.

Another Sugar skull coloring page

Yay more sugar skull drawings.  I love doing these.  They're creepy and beautiful all at the same time. This was another Inktober drawing that I couldn't help but turn into a coloring page.  I've had a lot of fun with this and hope you do to.

Zentangle Pumpkin Coloring page

Another one of my InkTober drawings was a Zentangle Pumpkin.  I love zentangle. The repetitive patterns are almost therapeutic to draw or color.  So if you need some relaxing sit with your coffee and color time this is for you. It's a great activity for fall or Halloween and for kids or adults too.

Sugar Skull coloring page

For the month of October I've been participating in "InkTober".  It's a challenge started by illustrator Jake Parker. You do one ink drawing everyday for the whole month.  I've missed a few days but I'm really proud of myself for doing most of them.  I've had fun drawing but it's been even more fun scrolling through all the drawings with the #inktober everyday and seeing the amazing illustrations and talent.

Zombie Apocalypse 8th Birthday party

For Myles 8th birthday he chose a zombie apocalypse theme. He has a slight obsession with pretending he is defending us against the zombie apocalypse (no we don't watch the Walking Dead).  It's kind of cute with him and his friends running around the neighborhood with their Nerf guns making sure we are all safe and secure.  So I tried to translate that into a kind of desolate zombie apocalypse dessert table and treats.

Trick or treat

Give me something good to eat!
To get some pictures of my new Halloween party line we celebrated Halloween early this year.  My kids were so excited about the party they told everyone they knew so our little party grew and grew (oops I slipped into Dr. Seuss there).  We had a wonderful time eating lots of yummy treats and dressing in adorable costumes.

Halloween is on the way

It's hard to believe that Halloween is almost here.  This time of year is always a blur to me with two holidays and two birthdays all before Christmas.  Don't get me wrong this is my favorite time of year but super busy.  So I've started working on some Halloween decorations for my Etsy shop.  This is the black cat that will be making an appearance in them.  I wonder if I should give him a name?  If anyone has any good ideas let me know. Hope you're enjoying the season changes as much as I am.
